Your Role

Amaris Consulting is hiring! We are looking for a Head of Master and Reference Data M/F for an opportunity in Lausanne.
Your Role:

• Data Strategy: Ownership of overall data governance framework
• People and organization: Ensure organizational setup is fit for purpose in light of a very dynamic business environment. Develop and sustain a companywide MRD team and community.
• Data process design: Develop processes & select tools for (MDM) Master Data Management (policies, SOPs, governance, quality standards, roles & responsibilities, reporting and documentation).
• Data process management: Pilots data process execution (creation, changes, deactivation of data). This includes also the measurement & monitoring, improvement actions, as well as developing and updating documentation related to the data process execution
• Ensure compliance of MRD standards and processes with GxP and other relevant regulations.
• Data system ownership: Ownership and accountability for data management systems. Ensures that the data applications are properly structured to support end-to-end business processes, have adequate access controls, availability, response time and maximize consistency with connected systems.
• Data migration: Support the data feed of new or changed applications. In case of acquisitions (M&A), secure identity between source and target databases, as well as information enrichment as needed.
• Benchmarking: Identifies gaps and requirements vs external best in class data management practices and/or Galderma data related policies and standards.
• Change Management: Develops and implements communication strategies to enhance the company-wide understanding and culture of proper data management.

Your Profile:

• 10+ years’ experience in MDM leadership in an industrial environment (Life-Sciences or consumer product industry would be a plus)
• 5+ years in senior Management position(s) with an international scope
• Solid command of Master & Reference data best practices
• GxP (GDP, eCSV): understanding of relevant external regulatory requirements affecting Master data incl. ALCOA+ framework, IDMP, etc.
• Proven experience in developing and piloting Shared Services and MDM process externalization
• University degree in business administration with major in finance or operations management or IS/IT technical background with interest in business
• Ability to work within a Matrix organization and project structures with cross functional view of the business
• Deep knowledge of ERP and data Management systems, data life-cycle Management & data modelling
• Experience with data analysis, quality, cleansing and extraction / validation tools
• Proven leadership experience
• Fluent in English, second language an asset
