THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of Operations to develop, oversee & optimize operational processes across functions such as engineering, project management & delivery, finance and regulatory compliance. Play a key role in creating and implementing plans and procedures to improve operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals. Oversee customer service, manage budgets and financial performance to ensure that the organization is operating within budget. Manage staff efficiency, ensuring that our organization has the necessary resources and personnel to meet our targets and goals while at the same time identifying and proposing opportunities for growth.

YOU WILL

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to meet the company’s goals and objectives
  • Oversee the daily operations of the company, including managing staff efficiency, use of resources, and overall project P&L
  • Identify and manage operational risks
  • Ensure that all services provided by the company meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Further develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the company operates efficiently and effectively
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement and provide recommendations to the management team
  • Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Oversee the development and implementation for customer projects
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to track company performance, identify areas for improvement and generate management reports
  • Oversee workforce planning & allocation and supervise the recruitment process for the operational team
  • Use predictive analytics to forecast project management and budget to improve delivery
  • Report to our CEO
  • Manage a team of Engineering, Project Management & Delivery Leads
  • Partner with the leaders of Operations from different sites within the group

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, computer science or other related fields
  • 8+ years of experience in the field of software development – preferably in a service provider (agency) company
  • Proven experience in project planning, development and operations management – preferably in a service provider (agency) company
  • Proven skills within Advanced Data Analytics and Business Intelligence functions
  • Experience with managing a team of 10+ FTE
  • Great leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning and forecasting skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies and processes
  • Experience in managing software development projects for enterprise customers
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Great knowledge of the Swiss tech market
  • German and English – C1 level of written and spoken production
