Our client is a recognized brand in the luxury industryThe person will be responsible of developing and executing the PR strategy to support the brand developmentResponsabilitiesStrategy- The Head of PR develops and implements public relations strategies and action plans to support the long term development of the brand
- He/She acts as a partner to the management team to proactively support communication initiatives, product launches, corporate events and to deal with challenges as they occur
- The Head of PR is actively involved in the creation of marketing strategies ensuring consistency and coherence of the brand message and tone of voice across all the brand communication platforms
- The head of PR animates the function with the Brand Managers and marketing teams internationally, and supports the markets in their PR actions
- The Head of PR leads and oversees the creation of content and messages to support the brand strategy, product launches and editorial content for off-line and digital usage.
- The Head of PR oversees the social media interactions, setting the tone of voice and making sure the messaging is consistent with the brand DNA and strategy
- The head of PR supervises the work of the copywriter and coordinates a community of internal and external content producers to ensure coherence and consistency with the brand DNA, it’s strategy and long, mid, and short term objectives
- The head of PR acts proactively in developing a network of media partners, journalists, bloggers, etc… and in creating opportunities to convey the brand message in innovative ways
- He/She will prioritize and organize media and interview opportunities, in coordination with the management and marketing teams
- The Head of PR is the main point of contact for their media partners for daily interactions and requests
- Additionally, the Head of PR will serve as the PR person for the CEO of the maison
- University or business school degree
- 10 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in luxury brands
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to develop strong and meaningful relationships, internally and externally with a great variety of people - press, customers, retailers, friends of the brand, etc…
- Structured and organized, able to prioritize and focus
- Handling stress and dealing with changing priorities easily
- Written and spoken English and French; additional languages are considered a plus
- Precise and attentive to details in everything you do
- Prior experience with social media and today’s digital tools
- Ready to travel internationally as required
