Head of Sales & Operation Planning / Supply Chain Development

Your tasks

In this challenging position you will be responsible for the Global Sales & Operations Planning team. Your team is fully committed to manage the S&OP cycle and is responsible for demand to capacity to supply related turnover planning for the Segment Industry and High Frequency Technology. A focus will also be on further development of the Global Supply Chain Management driven by cross-functional projects.
Therefore, we are seeking for an enthusiastic Team Leader S&OP who is ready to take on leadership responsibility and wants to help to create a sustainable tomorrow together.

The main tasks for this position are the following:
  • Full leadership & people management responsibility for the S&OP team in Herisau and its further development
  • Functional leadership of virtual intercompany teams located outside of Switzerland
  • Managing the monthly S&OP cycle: Responsible for demand to capacity to supply related turnover planning
  • Further development of the Demand Planning for EMEA and support implementing of a new Planning Tool.
  • Optimization of global supply footprint
  • Support the implementation of different strategic projects around S&OP
  • Managing SCM related KPIs and dashboards
  • Establishing a global Inventory Management
  • Improvement of relevant master data for planning and inventory optimization
  • Close collaboration with corporate organization and support of cooperate strategy and initiatives
  • Active participation in Just-Do-It meetings
  • Optimization of intercompany business

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields
  • Ideally 3-5 years work experience in Supply Chain Management, especially in establishing and further developing S&OP processes
  • Strong analytical skills and experienced with BI Tools (e.g. Power BI or others)
  • Strong leader with communication and presentation skills
  • Experienced in Project Management
  • Very strong knowledge of SAP APO or smilier planning and Forecasting systems
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong interpersonal, team-working and decision-making skills
  • Very proactive, driven, motivated and flexible
