Working in close collaboration with the local sales and marketing teams in the various markets, the Head of Trade Marketing is driving and leading the trade-marketing strategy in line with MSC Cruises Commercial and Brand and Product strategy. Through key sales insights, he/she is responsible for developing and delivering centralized marketing tools and assets with his/her team to activate MSC Cruises commercial strategy in the various markets, aimed at improving sales efficiency.

  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as Business Administration, International Business or Marketing
  • A previous 5-year experience at least in trade-marketing /operational marketing/commercial is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must possess analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, balancing multiple priorities and able to work well under pressure with others
  • High level of attention-to-detail required
  • Have a positive can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamically changing environment
  • Have excellent interpersonal, organizational and team collaboration skills
  • Defines and rolls-out the Corporate Trade-marketing strategy in line with both MSC Cruises Commercial strategy and Brand and Product strategy
  • Owns the Corporate Trade-marketing budget, and coordinates Trade-marketing local budgets and their prioritization
  • Translates the Brand and Product marketing plans to specific Trade-marketing initiatives in line with Sales teams and B2B partners’ needs, while ensuring MSC Cruises is marketed in accordance with corporate policies
  • Feeds the Sales teams globally with the most efficient tools and means required for the implementation of the Brand and Product strategy:
  • Collects Sales teams requirements to ensure the correct implementation of local initiatives and tailor-made activities in-line with MSC Cruises marketing strategy
  • Provides Sales with effective and relevant information about products, promotional activities and materials
  • Develops Sales teams supporting tools and supervises their localization and activation: 

  • Ensures the proper implementation of Trade-marketing activities at local level-Assesses constantly and shares market/channel best-practices with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Monitors and analyses competition and B2B partners practices to identify business opportunities and develop Trade Marketing plans
  • Impulses and supervises global trade events in coordination with Corporate stakeholders and local offices
  • Leads a team composed of a trade-marketing specialist and an intern
