HIP HOP ASSISTANTCollège du Léman is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious international day and boarding schools, located on the edge of Lake Geneva in view of the Swiss Alps. The school helps students to find their place in the world by inspiring individual growth, academic excellence, and global citizenship.It is a truly international community with more than 150 different nationalities among the 1800-day and 240 boarding students. They come together on a green, village-like campus covering 8 hectares.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLEAs a Hip-Hop assistant, you will tutor students from ages 7 to 18 and encourage them in progressive practice habits. Extracurricular lessons take place from 4 p.m. The working days depend on the demand.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Hip-Hop teacher
  • Assist the teacher in developing and planning fun activities
  • Ensuring that our students have a positive and enjoyable experience in class while developing their skills
  • Maintaining security and discipline as a top priority
  • Take part in the organisation of dance shows.
RequiredSKILLS AND COMPETENCESYou are an enthusiastic, and excellent Hip-Hop dancer with the ability to teach and engage students. You will act as an example and your human skills, responsiveness and flexibility will aid the dialogue with your hierarchy and colleagues.Preferred
  • Experience in teaching in an International School
It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships.You understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stand against discrimination in any form. Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process.
