TheHospital Program Managerwill lead the development and deployment of a strategic and innovative program across Europe called the Edwards Benchmark Program that aims at improving the in-hospital TAVI patient pathway. He/she will promote and localize the program for the main European markets. This person will also work closely with the country marketing and commercial leadership as well as the senior faculty team to generate and execute country go to market strategies that best meet country needs. Finally, this person will develop and deploy innovative customer engagement projects that will enhance the current program offering.

This person will work closely with multifunctional teams made of learning and development, marketing, commercial EU and national organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment of the program in major centers across Europe by engaging and educating hospital clinical leadership teams
  • Lead the localization of the optimization program messaging, promotional tools and activities in partnership and collaboration with local leadership teams
  • Align and deploy the strategy& tactics for the optimization program in European markets
  • Work with internal/external stakeholders to design promotional materials and organize promotional activities to create general awareness on the program
  • Identify gaps in optimization in different countries/hospitals and build the tools/ programs aimed at improving the path to treatment and the TAVI procedure
  • Analyze opportunities to embed the program in our customer engagement strategy and maximize the value for Edwards Lifesciences
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s or a master’s degree in life sciences, biology, BA or similar
  • 5-7+ years industry experience working in/or with clients in the pharma, medical devices, or healthcare/hospitals
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with strategic thinking
  • Out-of-the-box thinker with ability to influence
  • Proactive and independent working style, high flexibility and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Strong stakeholder management as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
Additional Skills
  • Strong expertise in hospital processes, patient pathways and treatment models improvement impacting in-/out hospital stakeholder’s practices and resources
  • Ability to run marketing programs or launches involving development of promotional tools and activities and communicating them via multi-channels
  • Ability to understand, interpret and manage clinical and economic data from both presentations and publications
  • Clinical experience in the cardiology space is a plus
  • Ability to effectively to collaborate with multiple stakeholders through utilization of organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others of the course of action
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Possesses good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong individual contributor. Speaks up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
  • Travel requirements: Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
