The HR crewing specialist has the overall responsibility for crew planning and operation functions of seafarers, including all manning requirements of each individual vessel and seafarer, all being in compliance with the regulatory requirements, company and customer standards. The HR crewing specialist’ duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
Handle all the recruitment process & coordination matters;
Administrative matters including flights and accommodation;
Ensure crew passport, visa and Seaman’s Books are maintained and valid;
Prepare and keep and update of the crew list and complete administration (eg.travel documents, certification, personal profile, ETA, ENOA-D, etc.);
Preparation of necessary documentation for inbound and outbound port clearance for crew;
Liaising with Port Agents for crew sign on and off procedures and requirements;
Prepare Payroll and make monthly salaries calculations based over the various operations requirements / law in force;
Ensure month-end payroll processing is completed & reported in a timely manner;
Monitor the daily working hours of all crewmembers onboard through the Time and attendance modules;
Maintenance of Crew manifests for on board international requirements and safety regulations;
Coordinate with the Manning Agencies worldwide the stipulation of agreements issuance for the crew supply;
Based on the itinerary, suggesting the best options for crew change or intervening in case of unexpected events (ex. Disembarkation of crew for family or disciplinary dismissal);
Provide strategic inputs for projected recruitment requirements, in order to ensure coverage of a sustainable crew pool within the assigned fleet and the agreed manning factor;
Document management, maintenance of personnel data records;
Manage the aspects related to the seafarers licenses and courses endorsements;
Business partnering with the technical and operations departments;
Perform other duties as assigned including Health, Employee Safety and Security tasks;
Promote new Company procedures according to MLC2006 Convention;
Ensure all documents for the applications (medical certificates, COC and COP) are in compliance with the STCW Convention;
Other crew and operations matters as directed by the Cruise/Industrial Division Operations Director.
Keep Archive folders and crew documentation for Audit well update during the time
Participate to and pass successfully the Various Yearly audits related to crew documentation and MLC
requirements.
Il suo profilo
A minimum of four year experience in the Crew pursers and cashier department on board
Financial background, relative accounting and administration skills
Excellent English skills, written and spoken
International experience / shipboard experience is required
Ability to work independently, positive, approachable personality, professional appearance, excellent
communication skills
Flexible and stress resistant, team player, shows commitment
Young and Highly motivated
Punctual and well organized person
