We are now looking for a


Human Resources Manager


within our HR Local Operations team, part of people services. The preferred location for the position is in Frauenfeld, Switzerland and partial hybrid work scheme is possible.


What you will be doing


We are searching for a new colleague to lead HR Local Operations in Switzerland taking care of all local employment matters, driving policy updates, and securing correct and timely payroll amid these changes. The HR Manager Switzerland will, together with the HR payroll specialist, work closely together with other parts of the People Services and larger HR organization, including the European service center (People Support Hub), the Recruitment team, the Centers of Expertise and Business HR. Locally the HR Manager will play an important advisory role to the Managing Director and the local business management teams.


As HR Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:


  • Act as a local people partner by advising line managers in employment related matters and support employee wellbeing.
  • Advice and guide managers around local labour law and applicable legislation.
  • Navigate change initiatives that are having effect on local level, including organizational redesigns, change management, planning, and employee communication. Support line manager in change management approach.
  • Support roll-out of (global) HR policies.
  • Employee engagement through role modelling a culture of fairness and inclusion.
  • Support in local people practices including the care for local benefits, the employee handbook, health, and wellbeing.
  • Standardization of local administrative processes, within context of our global way of working, and continuous improve in all areas of delivery.
  • Provide support in the development of local and regional HR projects/initiatives.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR in a matrix-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines to include compensation & benefits, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management.
  • Dedicated service mentality towards employees and internal stakeholders as well as hands-on attitude to cover both managerial as well as day to day tasks
  • Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels in a matrix organization.
  • Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and ability to apply legal concepts to real world situations. Fluency in German and English
