1. Purpose of the role:

Oriflame is now looking for a HR / Payroll Specialist to strengthen our team in Schaffhausen. This position is reporting into the Senior Manager Corporate HR and Global Payroll. This will be a time-limited position until Q1 2023. This role is the perfect opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step up in their HR career. You will perform a variety of HR and Finance activities in an independently and conscientious manner.

2.What will you do?
  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll process for multiple legal entities, for Switzerland, Germany, UK, Singapore & Luxembourg in collaboration with outsourcing partner
  • First point of contact for payroll enquires for employees, social insurance authorities, insurance broker, tax authorities, finance department, Internal and external auditors etc.
  • Administer all employee benefits (pension, health insurance, social insurances)
  • Responsible for providing accurate data to Finance for accruals, year-end activities, budget variations, re-charging of employee costs etc.
  • First point of contact for internal / external audits
  • Maintain global HR database requirements, ensure employee records are compliant and complete
  • Prepare employment contracts and amendments in compliance with country-specific legislation
  • Support all year-end closing tasks in close collaboration with Finance Team
  • Responsible for annual HR processes such as Bonus calculations and annual salary reviews etc.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining various HR Tools and systems.

3. Your Background And Your Qualifications
  • General
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Previous professional experience in managing payroll & HR Services within an international company
  • Experience working with external suppliers for HR Services and Payroll outsourcing providers.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of managing payroll for Expatriates or international employees with split employment contracts would be of great advantage
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Functional /Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Proficient user of technology (MS Office; especially Excel,)
  • Experience with HRIS tools, such as Cornerstone, IFS HR, or similar
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Competencies
  • Well-structured, solution-oriented, and high problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about brining improvements in HR transactional and administrative employee services
  • Approachable and client-oriented personality who likes to work in a team
  • Ability to set priorities, to coordinate processes and to multitask
  • Attentive to details, strong analytical skills
  • Education
  • Commercial apprenticeship, bachelor’s degree in accounting/HR or similar
  • Professional education in HR.
