On behalf of our Client, a well-established global technology company, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced ICT System Specialist Linux and Cloud.

If you are a passionate about Linux environments and Cloud technologies and would love to work with a great variety of modern technologies and keep yourself updated with current trends in the IT industry within an experienced team of Software Engineers, this opportunity can represent a thrilling step further in your career.

This is a permanent role based in the Canton of Schwyz with possibilities of a hybrid working setup.

Here’s a quick glance at your daily responsibilities:
  • Engineering, configuring, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux and Cloud services.
  • Developing, testing, and distributing new technologies and services.
  • Monitoring system performance.
  • Ensuring the running of hardware and software processes.
  • Being involved in 2nd and 3rd level support and troubleshooting to solve the issues.

We are excited to get to know you for this opportunity if your background looks like as followed:
  • Several years of experience with Linux technologies.
  • Proven experience with cloud solution (ideally, AWS or Azure).
  • Being at ease with both on-premises and cloud services.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Being proactive and adopting a problem-solving approach.

It would be a plus if you also have experience with:
  • Linux experience with Ret Hat Enterprise, Linux Security and Architecture.
  • Familiarity with Checkmk.
  • Communication skills in German.
