Import/Export Manager SC EU (m/f/d)

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Within Supply Chain Europe Organization the Import-Export manager is responsible for ensuring the proper execution of the Import-Export related activities of the organization in the most effective manner, optimizing costs and aligning with legal requirements.
  • Continuous improvement of the utilization process of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and identify new saving opportunities for Import & Export.
  • Review and develop enhancements to Company’s existing trade compliance program.
  • Ensure master data maintenance: supplier origin, material HS code collaborating with Manufacturing, INDU, Procurement and Customer Service.
  • Lead and coordinate application of legal procedure for Export control for banned and restricted countries and dual use.
  • Maintain manufactured product catalogues for customs purposes.
  • Develop team members and upgrade existing skills and performace according to the requirements.
  • Perform preliminary origin assessment (REP’s) and Economic analysis for new product or specific business cases.
We Elevate... Your Best Self
  • 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of customs and trade.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leading role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Swiss, EU and International Customs laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of tariff classification, free trade agreements, export controls.
  • Fluent English, any other language a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and ERP global trade automation solutions.
