What It’s About

In this position, you will be part of the growing institutional client team covering Switzerland and will make an impact by supporting client acquisition and maintenance across the team and firm.

In Your Role, Your Primary Tasks Will Include

  • Support client relationship managers with the preparation for client meetings and due diligence sessions including compiling convincing bespoke marketing presentations and investment proposals, as well as coordination of internal parties
  • Creating tailored, persuasive and high-quality responses to client requests, assisting with queries, audit requests and performance updates
  • Coordinating and liaising with various teams and specialists within the firm to prepare client requests
  • Producing written market updates and summaries of investment activity
  • Support process related to, as well as, provide convincing and well-justified inputs to request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Supporting the on-boarding process for clients, involving liaising with both internal and external counterparties
  • Building professional and technical knowledge with a view to potentially develop into a full-time position after completion of the internship

What We Expect

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the financial services industry, ideally gained within private markets, but other experience such as asset / fund management or investment banking / consulting is also of advantage.

Key Attributes Will Include

  • Undergraduate university degree
  • Excellent skills in both spoken and written German and English. Good understanding of spoken and written French is a clear plus
  • Ideally experience in (institutional) sales, product management, private banking, asset management, private equity, consulting or investment banking gained by previous internships
  • Confident and comfortable communicating with teams and individuals across all levels
  • Ability to take full ownership and responsibility
  • Strong project management skills and ability to drive different processes at the same time
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Proactive hands-on approach
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve with a client-focused mindset and willingness to work to tight deadlines in a challenging environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of private markets is an advantage
