The Zurich based startup Art Recognition AG has developed an AI algorithm to authenticate artworks and detect forgeries. To improve the algorithm, Art Recognition has partnered up with the Cognitive Science & AI Department at Tilburg University (the Netherlands) which already has extensive experience with using computer vision/AI methods in the artistic context.Art Recognition AG offers internships to motivated students with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.Tasks
  • Train the AI on new artists, perform AI authenticity analyses on images submitted by clients.
  • Improve the existing operational pipelines on the commercial clouds (Azure/AWS)
  • Participate in ongoing R&D projects
Requirements
  • First experiences with training deep neural networks;
  • Interest in working at the frontier of Artificial Intelligence and art;
  • Some experience with commercial cloud computing would be a plus;
  • Good command of the English language.
