We are looking for a Senior Consultant/ Manager Procurement Transformation (m/f/d) to strengthen ourEnterprise Transformation Team:

Bring to life what’s next


  • Digitization of our customers’ end-to-end Procurement function
  • Conception and implementation of innovative and sustainable concepts for optimizing our customers’ supply chain in the areas of supply chain planning, network design, transport and warehouse management
  • Addressing strategic to technical conceptual issues along the entire value chain in Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Production, and Sales
  • Designing the future supply chain, including the transport networks and warehouse locations of our customers, particularly with a view to value-adding innovations
  • Business and management consulting in international, large-scale transformations
  • Efficient linking of business, strategy, and IT
  • Holistic consulting approach in defining and introducing demand, procurement, supply, production, and integrated business planning organizations and processes

Your qualifications


  • Academic excellence:
    Outstanding bachelor’s or master’s degree in a renowned University in the field of Business Administration, Organization Studies, Change Management or Sociology.
  • Industry knowledge: Several years of practical project experience (minimum 3-7 years) in the field of digital transformation in at least one of the following industries: Financial Services, Consumer Goods & Retail, Manufacturing, Life Science. Practical experience and comprehensive knowledge in the in the areas of Procurement Operating Model, Digital Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Should-cost Modelling, Supplier Analysis, Procurement Operations, Source-to-Pay Process Optimization, as well as (ideally) Clean-sheet design, Zero-basing and SG&A Cost Optimization. Up-to-date with trends in technology and shared services and understanding of their impact on different business areas and models, (ideally) exposure to Coupa and/or SAP Ariba.
  • Consulting experience: Solid consulting skills and an affinity to and thorough knowledge of project management and/or change management, and experience managing teams or project groups.
  • Conceptual talent: Rational thinking and ease of combining technological understanding, strategic evaluation, and implementation work i.e., efficient linking of processes between business, strategy, and IT. A structured and hands on work style with a fun approach to solving complex tasks. Commitment and self-responsibility to deadlines and an entrepreneurial mindset. Eagerness to learn and adapt in uncertain situations, manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication and presentation skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken). German mandatory (C1 level), strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Digital affinity: Affinity and appreciation for Data Science and Digital Transformation, proficient in PowerPoint and other marketing software tools.
  • Cultural fit: High reliability, team spirit and personal fit for a leading global management consulting firm (international orientation & openness to travel, integrity).
  • Flexibility in terms of location: You will be working at customer sites, from the Capgemini Invent offices and from home.
