Congo Brands is a US based high-growth company that manages several rapidly growing brands within the beverage sector, initiated and led by high profile individuals within social media. The local office in Zug was established in 2023 as we expand into Europe and other regions, beginning with the PRIME hydration range.

We are looking for an Inventory Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory valuation and optimizing inventory controls. Your expertise in consolidating and analysing data will contribute to informed decision-making and drive efficiency throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate and reconcile data from various third-party manufacturers to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including procurement, finance, IT and 3rd party suppliers, to gather relevant data and troubleshoot issues.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate, analyse and present large volumes of data effectively.
  • Involved in month-end close accounting activities, such as accounting of inventory and cost of sales adjustments, inventory reserves and other valuation differences, post-close account reconciliations, etc.
  • Develop analysis and reporting on inventory-related metrics, trends, and variances.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Finance or Accounting function in a multinational environment, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must. Proficiency in PowerBI and Sharepoint are a big plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate, verify, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders both on-site and remote
  • On-site in Zug office 4 days a week
