We are looking for an IT Architect/EngineerWindows Server and Automation who would like to support an IT Infrastructure Delivery organization.

Global IT Infrastructure Build Operations, role in hybrid global work team with multitude of parallel activities.

Core Responsibilities

Lead Platform engineering for Windows Servers as Windows infrastructure services Architect: document and coordinate technology design, and configuration for windows core services updates/additions as part of change management discipline, classic data center and Azure cloud

Achieves organizational goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture to support on-premise and cloud authentication

In collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture function, support ADFS Architectures , DNS Architectures , DHCP , SQL

Influence relevant platform choice for solution proposals and provide guidance to service providers on platform strategy and standards

Validate, evaluate and technical sign-off of technical changes in capabilities and solutions proposed by external partners.

Oversee and guide deployment of security patches, enhancements and changes to the windows IT Landscape

Serve as L4 SME for technical operations, incident, and problem resolution in windows servers

Oversee and guide platform maintenance and monitoring activities with RUN team

Perform complex configuration changes (simpler done by L2)

Lead automation implementation processes for repetitive tasks within servers scope

Lead Automation implementation of GOLD Standard Windows Server images

Manage optimal availability, cost, and capacity of platforms in scope

Knowledge management: ensure operational procedures, technical designs/standards and configuration knowledge is documented and maintained. Support training of staff.

Core Experiences

• At least 6 years in relevant IT Platform Engineering role in global IT Infrastructure environment, including actively working with Cloud Technology
• Broad knowledge and experience across Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies
• Good IT Infrastructure knowledge for adjacent domains including End-User Computing, Linux server, Network, Databases, Middleware
  

Education Requirements

• ITIL certified
• BSc in IT or equivalent
• English at least B2 level
• Certified windows admin Engineer Level
