Tasks

Job Description

Note : this position can be part-time.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 technical support and guidance to our customers in collaboration with our L1 and L3 Engineers.
  • Responsible for the overall system and infrastructure availability and developing a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.
  • Ensure a timely, robust and well-defined internal service upgrades
  • Work with the team to set SLA criteria for the availability and performance of our IT infrastructure and to enhance our customer support.
  • Responsible for day-to-day system administration, including management of internal network, VPN, firewall, mailing service and system backups.
  • Responsible for management of the rollout and support of desktop devices, including laptops and printers, and productivity tools such as our internal communication tools and sales/management platforms.
  • Maintains and constantly improves server and network performance, reliability and security
  • Identifies opportunities to simplify IT and support operations through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain the appliances to provide to our customers.
Requirements

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of appropriate experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery
  • Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/operating systems, networks, virtualization
  • Good experience in scripting and Linux administration
  • A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies
  • A very strong customer-oriented approach delivery of service
  • Ability to work in autonomy and manage priorities
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and monitoring skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Professional-level English spoken and written
Valued Additional Experience
  • Experience or interested to learn about containers building, running containerized services and containers orchestration
  • Experience with network technologies such as VyOS, BGP, Wireguard, Kubernetes CNI
