The IT SAP Development Manager is a full rounded professional with both configuration and development experience that will work on one of the most interesting digital transformations in MSC Cruises. Reporting to the SAP IT Senior Program Manager, he/she will lead the end-to-end solution build (blueprint, configuration and development) for Finance, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash, coordinating the system integrators and working along with the business department. He/She will also be responsible of defining the IT testing Cutover and Hypercare. The role is a governance role on the project mode for all solution design and development, and hands-on for the “run”.

  • Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage;
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, engineering or equivalent;
  • 7+ Years of SAP experience;
  • Extensive SAP S/4HANA experience including configuration and development in SAP FI, MM, SD;
  • Demonstrated experience leading S/4HANA in large scale, high risk and strategic projects. A minimum of two end-to-end implementations in a complex and fragmented landscape. Green field implementation would be appreciated;
  • Programming skills in at least one language e.g. (ABAP, JAVA);
  • Strong expertise on Fiori applications set-up and deployment (including custom Apps);
  • Experience in managing resources and working with distributed teams including near shore and offshore;
  • Experience in managing integrations with other applications and modules;
  • Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Plans, executes and reports to the SAP IT Senior Program manager;
  • Leads the end to end Finance, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash IT SAP application development from Build to Hypercare;
  • Reviews end to end Finance, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes and Business Blueprints’ requirements with all the business departments involved;
  • Drives IT Integration build on process flows in coordination with IT legacy application owners;
  • Coordinates with the security team the roles and authorizations design and implementation;
  • Actively participates to the overall release management;
  • Supports IT testing, Cutover, Go-Live and hypercare care IT activities;
  • Coordinates System Integrators to ensure global template design and implementation;
  • Monitors plan and highlights anticipated IT issues or slippage.
Business Responsibilities:
  • Continuous improvement for the SAP FI, P2P and O2C solution to improve stability and performance of the solution;
  • Participates to building a “Run” development center in compliance with IT processes and governance standards;
  • Sets-up a governance across Procure to Pay platforms (SAP and non-SAP technologies);
  • Ensures coherence and consistency in the release management process including patches and system upgrades;
  • Performs root cause analysis and technical performance optimization;
  • Implements and enhance testing procedures and automatic testing where necessary;
  • Participates to IT integration stability and across application governance;
  • Ensures technical alignment across platform and across S4/HANA modules (MM / MM / RR/ FI / CO);
  • Works with cyber security to implement cyber security policies;
  • Acts as IT SAP Subject Matter Expert for other IT application owners;
  • Always scouts new technologies for all the domains he/she is responsible for.
