For one of our client based in Geneva, we’re looking for a

IT SUPPORT L2 (M/W)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated IT Support L2 to join his IT team. You will be
responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the organization’s computer systems and networks.
You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading systems, providing technical
support to users.

:

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure that they are running efficiently.
  • Provide technical support to users and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage and maintain security systems to ensure data is kept secure and implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery plans to ensure that data is recoverable in the event of a disaster or system failure.
  • Test and implement software and hardware updates and upgrades.
  • Create and maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports on system usage.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that the organization’s technology needs are being met.
  • Communicate effectively with users, management, and other stakeholders.

Profile requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree     in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam and/or Commvault Metallic.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent and proficient in both oral and written English and French
