Our client is a 100 year old swiss music cooperative that supports creators and publishers. With more than 41 000 members, it ensures fair compensation and global exposure for creative talents.

We are currently seeking skilled professionals to join the Information Technology division of this remarkable cooperative. The IT division encompasses two critical areas: Application Development and Systems Technology. With approximately 40 enthusiastic team members in each segment, this dynamic unit is committed to providing exceptional services to members, clients, and affiliates worldwide. To stay at the forefront of technological advancements and meet evolving demands, the IT landscape is undergoing continuous enhancement. Furthermore, a multi-year project aimed at overhauling the system architecture and associated applications is well underway.

As part of the IT team, you will:

  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT, driving software development
  • Contribute to the realisation of intricate applications, involving conceptualisation, design, and development phases
  • Translate intricate business needs to effective IT solutions
  • Analyse complex challenges and craft detailed technical specifications
  • Collaborate within agile, interdisciplinary teams to foster innovation
  • Create comprehensive technical and conceptual documentation for applications

To be successful, you`ll bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field (University/ University of Applied Sciences)
  • Several years of hands-on experience in object-oriented software development, with a strong focus on Java
  • Proficiency in contemporary Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA and Spring
  • Expertise in modern integration technologies such as Red Hat Fuse, Apache Camel, or Kafka
  • Strong grasp of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Familiarity with relational database systems, including Microsoft SQL Server
  • Practical exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes would be advantageous
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • An aptitude for working collaboratively in agile team, coupled with independence, creativity, commitment, and resilience
  • Fluent in German
