Business Analyst Digital and Product Owner 60-100% (m/f/d) - Bern (potentially Geneva)

Our department Digital Services is looking for a web business analyst with the desire to also take product owner responsibilities preferably in Ostermundigen (BE) but potentially also in Vernier (GE). The position will be available from 1st September 2023 or by mutual agreement.

Digital Services is managing the main TCS website: TCS.ch, which includes a lot of content and small applications for all our activities. This also includes a portal, for our members, where they can access their profile and have informations about their membership and potential other products subscriptions.

Your challenges as Business Analyst (70% of activities)

• Participate in the web projects around our main TCS.ch website
• Take responsibilities of small to medium extensions of the website
• Discuss with various business users at TCS to clearly understand their needs and find appropriate solutions
• Work in collaboration with our UX experts to define user-friendliness solutions
• Write specifications defining what will be done and for which reasons
• Be the link between business and web developers
• Ensure that development is matching business users expectations

Your challenges as Product Owner (30% of activities)

• Take in charge the role of product owner for our Azure AD B2C platform
• Define the vision of this platform and how it should integrate with other digital solutions in place in TCS (mobile apps for instance)
• Manage the backlog of evolution and corrections to be done on the platform
• Coordinate the development on this platform based on agreed backlog
• Ensure that development quality and the coverage of specifications

This will help you get started

• Engineering or University degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in web projects
• Experience in business analysis
• Knowledge of identify access management topic
• Have already worked with OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Good sensibility to User Experience
• Good knowledge of security good practices (for web and mobile)
• Creative and open-minded person with can-do approach
• Team player with good coaching and social skills
• Native level proficiency in either German and professional working proficiency in English, French is a plus (if for Vernier, French native and German as a plus)
