Aim of the function

Support the organization in the execution of a strong backlog and prepare the business for future successes.

Busniess Unit (BU) controlling

• Administering data from the local ERP.
• Controlling of the Romandie profit center.
• Leading the preparation of the local monthly reporting (MIS) of the assigned Investment center (IC).
• Monitoring of financial statements including reallocation, monthly accruals, internal rebookings.
• Ensuring compliance with Group accounting standards and IFRS.
• Developing reports for internal stakeholders and local contact partner for external regulatory bodies.
• Supporting the ERP architecture simplification and data consistencies between the various tools in use - RIB & SAPS4Hana.

Project Controlling

• Assisting the project manager community in their need & review of project financials on a backlog of 50 projects from 10kCHF to 30mCHF.
• Financial monitoring and analysis of projects costs and revenue trends, daily tasks to set projects structure up, make sure costs are monitored and controlled.
• Preparing financial dashboard for joint ventures prior accrual bookings and regular project reviews for key projects in focus.
• Documenting project status, risk exposure and following up on action plans, ongoing claims and opportunities at stake.
• Supporting the organisation in all training materials that will be deployed cross profit centers to increase financial and contractual awareness within the non-finance and non-legal community.

Cash flow and Working Capital management

• Regular feedback to project managers on cash entries, overdue and warranty retention exposure.
• Providing a 12 month rolling liquidity planning of the IC.
• Updating working capital report, set up all relevant reports for the management and act upon to improve NWC.

Stock management

• Updating machine related cash out payments planning and actual spend on major investments/reparation costs.
• Active review of the utilization and absorption ratio and controlling of the asset parc versus work load plan.
• Checking consistencies of materials allocation in the inventory and assets data base + supporting the workshops cost centers managers in aligning with internal directives.
• Regularly supporting business cases for future PPE investments.

Candidate Profile

In terms of the performance and personal competencies required for the position, we would highlight the following:

• The successful candidate is expected to provide an excellent track record in Finance, Accounting &
• Controlling roles, contract management as a strong plus.
• She/he brings leadership experience in managing a profit center with a project based business.
• She/he has an in-depth knowledge of cost accounting, asset management, project controlling and corporate finance aspects.
• Ideally, she/he has full proficiency on SAP and has ideally a sound IT knowledge.
• Strong drive for continuous improvement, needs to be a self-starter, who is used to drive performance,
• initiates and takes on projects, strong accountability required.
• She/he excels in analytical thinking combined with the ability to solve problems.
• Strong team player is a must, hands on and down-to-earth, but with a fierce ambition for the success of the business
• High energy and resilience, transparent communication with proactive approach.
• The candidate mother tongue shall be French; English or German as 2nd language fluent for the participation to the team meeting or Group initiative.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
