Capex and Non-current Asset Controller 100% (m/f/d)

Major Accountabilities:

Accounting / Financial Controlling:

  • Provide instructions to the Shared Service Center to record Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), Intangible Assets and Right-of-use Assets (IFRS 16)
  • Perform financial controlling activities and ensure quality of recorded PPE, Intangibles, Right-of-Use assets and related depreciation and amortization charges for the Swiss entities
  • Calculation and documentation of Financial leasing (IFRS 16) for Swiss entities and responsible for instructions to Acino Group in relation to IFRS 16
  • Review existence and adequate valuation (impairment) of fixed assets, intangible assets

CapEx controlling:

  • Support the business in preparation of all Capital request documentation for the approval process, including Business Cases for larger Capex.
  • Own the different financials process to collect projects Budget and regular updates during the year (Forecast). Ensure all sites report the actual spend on a monthly basis, reconcile to the balance sheet.
  • Establish and own a regular review process with the CapEx business owners to ensure appropriate visibility of the project execution and company expected spend.
  • In charge of maintaining the CapEx data basis and eventually propose solutions for a new tool

Your profile:

  • Higher education in Finance / Accounting
  • First work experience with an international organization with exposure finance and accounting and or controlling role (ideally Capex)
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Previous exposure to corporate environment
  • Team player and independently working, flexible and motivated
  • Result oriented and focused on the goals set
  • Trustworthy and with ethics of the business
  • Good communicator to internal stakeholders (Finance community, all business functions requiring CapEx investments)
  • Fluent in English (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to communicate in German a plus
