As the Director Finance Flight Services & FBO you will be responsible for acting as the finance business partner to the VP Flight Services and VP Regional FBO Operations and their leadership teams. You will effectively and efficiently manage, administrate and support the operations in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis and be the central point of contact for all financial transactions related to the daily business.


You will manage financial planning and in particular cash flow management for a growing fleet of managed aircraft. As the Director Finance, you will be collaborating closely with operations, as well as matrixed support functions overseeing the financial strategy and financial processes.

Main responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of financial activities, including reporting, accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit control and collections
  • Manage the finance team (around 10 employees)
  • Look for ways to automate and improve finance processes to increase efficiency
  • Responsible for accurate customer statements and working capital management
  • Accessible for conversations with C level employees of the customer
  • Find ways to accommodate the customers financial reporting needs
  • Develop and evaluate financial plans and policies in accordance with global finance processes
  • Maintain accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls
  • Drive a culture of trust, honesty, alignment, transparency and performance throughout the region in line with JET VALUES
  • Ensure the execution of internal & external audits as well as the process standardization, development, update and maintenance of Jet Aviation finance policies & procedures
  • Ensure that strong successors are in place and develop regional Jet Aviation talents
  • Ensure compliance with GD/Jet Aviation financial policies, applicable laws and regulations
  • Conduct business ethically according to GD Blue Book regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Strong track-record/at least 7-10 years of financial business partnering
  • Comprehensive understanding of FP&A and Controlling and their broader implications
  • Strong internal and external commercial awareness
  • Comprehensive business aviation industry knowledge
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing mixed level finance team(s) of professionals
  • Proven track record of setting standards & guidelines in a finance function
  • Very strong communication skills for strong interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is beneficial
