Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)

PURPOSE

As a valued member of the Bayer Switzerland Radiology team, your primary responsibility is to contribute significantly to the field. This involves installing medical device systems, conducting annual maintenance, and resolving potential issues, all aimed at supporting our clients. Your commitment has the power to make a noticeable difference in the impact we have.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of our medical devices
• Support definition/maintenance of a common local high-quality service approach and ensure implementation
• Coordination of technical services for the process of installation, commissioning and various projects of injection systems and software
• Documentation of interventions, planning and service stock inventory management
• Manage local technical troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to our customers
• Active sales support in renewals, extensions, or new maintenance contracts
• Support possible product recalls/issue management in collaboration with local service management & back office
• Area of practice: French-speaking Switzerland, Bern, and Ticino

WHO YOU ARE

• Higher education in medical technology or a technical education with several years of experience working in the medical technology service field
• Good electro-mechanical skills, and a thorough knowledge of analog, digital and IT electronics, SAP is a plus
• Experience in the field of customer service and field service would be desirable
• Organized and autonomous, you have a great capacity for adaptation and stress management
• Flexible and dynamic, you are available for schedules adapted to operational needs
• Team spirit, professionalism, reliable person with a high level of customer orientation
• French and English required, solid German skills desirable
