We’re looking for a Settlements Specialist to:
  • perform reconciliation for FX/MM/PM products
  • investigate and resolve Nostro Breaks, Internal Breaks etc.
  • monitor and support EFC Claims Management
  • perform monthly balance sheet, GBSOV and PnL actions
  • do manual bookings and payments internally and externally.

Your team

You’ll be working in the FXMM and PM Post Settlement team.
We are a small team covering UBS Switzerland AG Zurich, UBS AG Zurich and UBS AG London Post Settlement activities for FX/MM and PM Products. We are responsible for post settlement process, such as investigation and reconciliation of these products. Furthermore we are also the point of contact for our offshore colleagues who are processing the UBS AG Zurich activities for Switzerland and London. We have daily interaction with external clients, Cash Management, Payments Team, IT Trading/Sales and Middle-office and in particular with Finance and Product Control.

Your expertise

  • very good understanding of payment transactions in SIC, SWIFT etc
  • experience in a similar role in the banking industry
  • fluency in written and spoken English; very good knowledge of German, French or Italian would be a huge asset
  • structured work with high responsibility and a sense of duty as well as ability to think creatively, flexibly and logically to solve problems
  • relevant product knowledge and command of Microsoft Excel
  • knowledge of accounting principles and banking products
  • flexibility and ability to work under pressure and deliver output to tight deadlines and of a high standard
  • focus on client service and team collaboration with proactive mindset
  • a solid understanding of risk and when to escalate risks/issues to senior management
  • interest in digitalization and affinity for technology
