Integrated Business Planning Global Program Manager, Electrification

Electrification global business area is looking for an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Program Manager who will be responsible to drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to the next level by establishing a planning-tool supported process. The IBP process is a 5-cycle process: Product Offering, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Reconciliation, and Management Business Review. The focus will be to develop and deploy the Integrated Business Planning process for the entire value chain including a Sales & Operation Planning and Integrated Inventory and Capacity Management for the business. The implementation needs to be driven from a process and digitalization perspective. In addition to the improvement and re-design of the process base, the program manager will challenge the status quo, define roles and responsibilities, engage and mobilize stakeholders and provide a process design ready to use and deploy. Strong implementation focus change management and a structured approach are key to success. The value creation tracking should be supported by clear metrics identification and monitoring. Your responsibilities

• Providing knowledge of the specific business requirements for IBP – Integrated Business Planning to ensure the design is suitable and comprehensive across Divisions
• Developing and deploying an Integrated Business Planning global template for the entire value chain including a Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) process and Integrated Materials Management best practices & solutions for the business.
• Understanding of Domains covering IBP Strategy, Sales & Operations Planning, SC Planning, Inventory Management, Global ATP, Global Trading
• Performing fit-gap solution / Assessments: Making detailed gap analysis across the value chain and provides IBP and Supply Chain Planning solutions to reach expected customer service levels at optimized inventory levels by utilizing value chain assessment methods
• Bring knowledge of existing global leading practices within ABB and bench marking
• Bring knowledge of areas within ABB where process improvements can be made, and assist in defining benefits for process improvement
• Working with IS solution experts to ensure that process design maximizes the use of “best practice” and “standard functionality” provided within the agreed IS architecture
• Having a good understanding of ABB business model and business types
• Stakeholder management and definition of roles and responsibilities within the IBP process
• Acting as “subject matter expert” for IBP, establish and share best practices, conduct cross-unit process assessments and benchmarking
• Build-up competencies within the organization by training and coaching of the Planning & Fulfillment community and to establish the needed organization to facilitate the IBP community.
• Availability to travel between 20-30% of your time pending on the progress and travel need of the program

Your background

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent and >10 years global working experience in SCM or Planning & Fulfillment
• Proven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment, especially around Integrated Business Planning implementation and improvement
• Ability to work in a global environment (also remotely) like ABB industry verticals
• Previous experience of transformation projects and/or IS implementation project would be a plus
• Further knowledge in advanced Planning Tools (SAP APO, Jda, Anaplan or others)
• Advanced and excellent knowledge in SAP (Modules MM, PP, WM, APO) as advantage
• Experience in application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodology
• Strong leadership capabilities across team boundaries and with/ without formal authority
• Experience in application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodology
• Customer focus and actions oriented with a systematic and structured approach
• Cultural awareness and ability to work within a global matrix organization
• Strong communication skills in English, consulting and facilitating skills
