Intern Engineering Solutions - Innovation Management

Who we’re looking for
  • Active current student in Engineering
  • Able to approach problems from multiple angles
  • Hands-on approach, teamwork attitude, problem-solving oriented, naturally curious
  • Highly motivated, independent and self-learner
  • Good critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Fluent in English, speaking and writing
  • Microsoft Office proficient user
You will support the application of the innovation process in Engineering solutions, enrich tools for execution, and coordinate technology & vendor scouting with the final objective to minimize time gap between product and equipment development.

Innovation Process and Tools – internal processes and RACI between involved functions. Suppliers database
  • Support the team to apply and update the Innovation process on the needs identified.
  • Consolidate & maintain the innovation project timeline .
  • Finalize the process training guidebook and coordinate ES team training.
  • Revise contracts and IP framework for Innovation
  • Support Communication of the innovation management.
Innovation Pipeline and technology Scouting
  • Support internal problem statement definition workshop followed by the idea generation ones. ( SPRINT)
  • Maintain innovation channels with our OEMs consolidating their Innovation roadmap for PMI.
  • Evaluate Suppliers Innovation performances.
  • Actively identify & onboard suppliers who are not part of our traditional supplier base
  • Search for "unique" competences in potential suppliers
  • Complete the common database of potential suppliers
  • Identify & assess technology trends, pre-screening of potential suppliers, manage a pool of innovation drivers
  • Update innovation pipeline with the creation of the concept’s bank for Consumables Engineering department.
Considering limited timeline of your internship, you will be focused mostly on Technology scouting and Innovation pipeline. However, you will be part of stream core team, participate in all discussions and work closely with Stream Lead and consultancy company.
