Global Channel Sales - Partner Development Manager, Scale-managed Partners

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) - Channel Sales team is looking for a sales professional to drive revenue and share growth through top Scaled-managed (unmanaged) partner performance.

The mission of the Global Partner Sales (GPS) organization is to accelerate Microsoft’s growth through its extensive and vibrant ecosystem of partners while also guiding the definition of and establishing excellence in execution across the global GPS teams. Building on the GPS mission, the Scale-managed Partner sales team focuses on achieving our cloud goals through and with our targeted partners to deliver $50B in ACR over the next three years. This global team is a time zone-based sales unit responsible for managing a portfolio of partners using a digital engagement model.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively nurture and influence an assigned partner portfolio to drive growth and customer impact across Microsoft’s three clouds: Azure, Dynamics365 and Microsoft365.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships through established cadences and engagements to help partners transform and grow their business in the cloud.
  • Identify short and long-term strategic goals supported by tactical GTM execution plans. Measure partner progress against performance and transformation related KPIs.
  • Track partner pipeline to identify patterns, opportunities, and gaps. Accelerate sales momentum and cloud consumption by leveraging Microsoft’s sales plays, upsell and cross-sell motions.
  • Lead orchestration with local field teams to support partner engagement and customer opportunity development.
  • Use market and industry insights to recommend new investment areas for partners and expand the number of Scale-managed partner marketplace solutions.
  • Build Scale-managed partner capabilities by connecting partners to the right resources or subject matter experts for education on relevant subject areas.
  • Convey the differentiated value proposition for partnering with Microsoft.
  • Articulate complicated licensing agreements to partners. Follow protocols to develop and align plans that are compliant with company and industry rules and regulations.
  • Prepare regular forecasts and pipeline reports using Microsoft’s tools. Utilize reporting and analytics to develop a holistic perspective of partner performance, gather insights and inform business decisions.

Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or equivalent with good experience in sales and partner management.
  • Ability to speak German or Spanish is a must
  • Extensive core sales experinece, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience
