Job description

Inter Q&A Services is a multinational company headquartered in Portugal, Europe. We operate internationally in the areas of auditing, inspection, verification, testing and technical analysis of inputs and products. With employees located in several countries, we offer a network of highly qualified inspectors and quality auditors to work in various industrial areas.

Inter Q&A Services is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector. In this role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards. We serve customers in a variety of fields and disciplines, including mechanical, welding, electrical, paint and coating, and many more.

If you are qualified, experienced and interested in industrial inspections, evaluations & supervision field of activities ranging from raw material, first sample, during production, pre-shipment, packaging, container loading inspections as well as factory and/or vendor audits, expediting surveys, on-site quality supervision, we hereby invite you to apply for this position as a Contractor Quality Control Inspector.

Responsibilities and Desired Experience:

  • Conduct product quality inspections in the field based on industry requirements and company best practices;
  • Inspection includes but is not limited to visual and dimensional inspection, functional test, packaging and loading check etc;
  • Record product quality against checklist and reference sample;
  • Prepare and submit the inspection report within the time frame required by the company;
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.
  • Familiar with ISO9001, SA8000, Wal-mart audit preferred.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanics/welding/quality/industrial engineering or related fields;
  • Certification in quality control is preferred and assumed as an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role or in the metallurgical, steel or mechanical industry;
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  • Must be familiar with AQL standards and have good knowledge of safety and regulatory standards;
  • Good math, technical and metrology skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office

Salary: Up to 350.00€ per day (to include travel and/or accommodation)
