We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to join the team in Pully.

Reporting to the Management of the Company, you will be responsible for a wide range of operational duties:

Job description:

Understanding all current and upcoming system requirements, including both technical level details and overarching strategic goals and communicate this information effectively the management to support the development,
Supporting development and implementation of new technologies by advising on design concepts and changes, implementation strategies and deployment timelines,
Coordination with the team to design effective solutions that meet requirements for functionality and integration with existing component,
Consulting, operation and further development of the on-premise and cloud platforms in the technology areas of Microsoft servers, Microsoft 365, network, virtualisation, backup/restore, databases, antivirus, security.
Manage cost-benefits relationship and develop ongoing systems solutions that meet performance and budgetary requirements,
Ensure all development activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to life cycle requirements.
Monitoring computer systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors. Analysing network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
Troubleshooting technical issues (3rd Level) and developing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in information technology or related faculty in EPF/HES or equivalent, or high affinity to technical solutions and at least 5 years of specific professional experience.
Clear, concise, effective communicator with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Excellent analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.
Financial tools (Bloomberg/Eikon terminal and system) administration is a plus
Strong organizational talent, with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects
Fluent in English and French or German an asset
