JOB PURPOSE

MSC Cruises is the fastest growing cruise line in the world, achieving double-digit growth and is the leading brand in Europe, South America, The Middle East and South Africa. Social Media manager represents a crucial role to support the development of our brand through owned and earned social media channels at global level. You will have the chance to grow professionally in an international while dynamic environment, supporting over 20 countries in developing their local social media and influencer marketing strategy.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Executing the social media strategy and programs aligned with brand

•Increasing the visibility of Social Media content from an organic and paid perspective.

•Supporting the Editorial Plan, in line with the Corporate Social Media strategy

•Supporting the Team in day-to-day activities including editing, publishing and sharing daily content across all Social Media properties.

•Supporting the Outbound engagement, through specific actions and deliverables

•Supporting influencer marketing campaigns, with the support of the appointed agencies

•Mastering Social Media analytics, assessing KPIs, performances and benchmarks for each social platform with focusing on engagement and conversations, by utilizing data analytics tools

•Supporting regional teams to maintain consistent brand guidelines, messaging, and content across local social media channels, while implementing their local strategy

•Being engaged on Company main events and milestones (such as Christenings)

•Managing the accounting operations for the projects appointed (Purchase orders, Vendors codifications…)

•Collaborating with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to fully coordinate the topics to be included in the Editorial plan

•Being updated on current trends and the latest news from the influencer and celebrities’ world, by monitor the competitive scenario, events, key trends and opportunities relevant for social media.


QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations would be an advantage

•Fluency in English, both written and oral

•At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in social media management

•Familiarity (both as a user and business manager) with the latest social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest) and technologies, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and trends

•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)

•Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

•Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills

•Positive attitude, good creative, multitasking and problem solving skills

•Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge, such as Google Analytics and Emplifi or Sprinklr


VISA REQUIREMENTS

EU National or right to work in Switzerland
