Sourcing Engineer Service Components (80-100%)

Reporting to the Global Category Manager Components, you will place RFQ, prepare supplier selection decision and frequent progress information to internal customers complete your task.

Your responsibilities

  • Pro-actively set up robust value chain in cooperation with service organization and Category Management
  • Run short term orders through the entire re-launch phase until parts are available for internal customer.
  • Support Category Management in relocation & supplier consolidation activities
  • Review of technical documents, clarify and align quality requirements and support of selected supplier

Your background

  • Completed vocational training as production or design engineer
  • Further education on university of applied sciences level in Supply Chain Management or Logistics would be an asset
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Good team player, skill to communicate and cooperate with people of different cultural backgrounds
  • Hands-on minded
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
