What you do:

Lead the Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) system engineering team activities (requirements elicitation, traceability, testing), including product architecture design, and flight physics modeling
Coordinate product implementation activities with the software and hardware team leaders
Support product management activities, defining technical requirements, functional requirements implementation and obsolescence resolution strategies
Report activities and progress to the GBTS department director
Chair regular team meetings to control team progress

What you bring:

University master degree in aerospace engineering with knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics to allow profitable decision making
At least 10 years of experience in flight simulators design and pilot training topics
Sound understanding of complex hardware/software/man-in-the-loop system architecture design
Proven knowledge of ground training systems requirements management and system engineering practices (ISO 15288)
Proven leadership skills in engineering team management
English language skills at C1 level, German language at least at B1
