JOB PURPOSE

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss Hospitality and luxury in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of four ships (currently in the pipeline) have been built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Manager, Digital Acquisition, Explora Journeys is an important role based out of the Company’s global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, within its Central global digital function. The chosen candidate will report to the Digital Lead as part of a dedicated corporate in-house team within a larger function led by the Head of Global Sales Excellence. He/she will be responsible for acquiring new customers across digital channels in order to achieve targets in accordance with long-‐ term profitability. Key channels include PPC, Programmatic, Shopping, Affiliates, and Paid Social channels.

Key Responsbilities:

• Plan and execute the global digital marketing acquisition strategy comprising search (PPC, SEO) affiliates and paid social (key markets are US, UK, EU Region, China, Japan)

• Work with organic engagement team and your peers to jointly develop strategy, set KPIs and drive the business forward in terms of its digital marketing performance

• Manage display campaigns worldwide

• Work in synergy with Corporate Marketing, CRM, eCommerce trading team and analytics team to develop, deliver and track performance of activity based on user journeys

• Manage and work with external agencies (strategy, media) to deliver your plan

• Great understanding of performance analysis and reporting (A&P Optimization, ROI Modeling)

• Stay on top of changing digital behaviors/trends including ad formats and media tactics and complete competitive analyses

• Retail: Must have experience of the key acquisition channels (PPC, SEO) and affiliate marketing plus experience of other emerging channels to drive growth

• Some understanding of luxury goods having previously dealt with them.


QUALIFICATIONS

• You have minimum of 5 years of professional international experience in Luxury digital acquisition / ecommerce environment (Both retail & agency). Experience in the travel/hospitality industry is a plus

• You are proficient and up-to-date with global media trends and tools (Display, Video, Mobile, SEM, Social, Email, Recruitment …). Experience in Asian specific platforms is a plus

• You master the management of paid traffic acquisition up to the resonance on organic

• Your English is fluent, any other language is a plus

• Strong experience in digital marketing supporting omni-channel businesses, responsible for PPC, SEO, affiliates, referral partners and re-targeting, ideally in most or all of our key markets (see above)

• Deep and detailed knowledge of Google Analytics, ideally 360, and tracking technology and methodology

• Expert Excel skills are essential, as are strong skills in Word, Powerpoint.


VISA REQUIREMENTS

EU passport or right to work in Switzerland.
