As Lonza is growing, we are currently looking for a Demand Management Specialist.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the demand plan in systems, including updating existing demand

  • Deeper understanding of the data flows between IBP, SAP ECC, SAP BW and legacy applications to troubleshoot or analyze

  • Maintain all demand related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems

  • Create and maintain demand related KPIs and use as basis for demand planning improvement initiatives

  • Key User SAP – IBP (deep knowledge on Demand Planning module). First point of call for any other users who need support, training gaps, functional issues

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar

  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain as well as a solid background in operations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis

  • Ability to use demand planning systems (e.g. SAP IBP) to create and maintain demand planning module

  • Ability to utilise Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports
