Job Description

Position summary:

The Global Sales Operations Manager is a dynamic role that leads, sales enablement, analytics, pricing implementation process and variable compensation, all in support of our multifaceted sales team. In addition, you’ll be an integral part in influencing X-Rite Pantone’s investments in CRM efficiency and lead functions crucial to productivity including planning, reporting, quota setting and management, preparing forecast data, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, utilizing Sales Force.com, and sales compensation design and administration.

Key responsibilities:

Sales Operations Leadership
  • Drive customer satisfaction, growth and retention through efficient lead conversion and quoting processes
  • Lead Sales Enablement initiatives to increase seller productivity
  • Conceptualize and coordinate Sales Strategies and Commercial Planning processes to achieve planned bookings, sales and profits
  • Design, implement, and lead sales forecasting and budgeting processes ensuring high quality and integration with cross functional teams.
  • Issue leading indicators on a weekly basis and gain insights from the leading indicators and drive corrective actions
  • Sales/Revenue Forecasts: Work with Operations, Finance and Product Management to ensure that backlog can ship as intended.
  • Responsible for equitably assigning sales force quotas and ensuring X-Rite’s financial objectives are effectively allocated to all sales channels and resources through the quota program.
Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with senior sales leadership to see opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Develop new global reporting tools to bring insight into the business. Proactively identify project needs, develop project plans and lead project / plans through completion
  • Lead the development, improvement and implementation of key sales operations processes and systems
Strategic Insight
  • Work closely with the leadership team to define efficient performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success.
  • Align reporting, training, and incentive programs with these performance management priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution; Masters in business administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum five years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Several years in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support management role.
  • Strong financial acumen including experience efficiently leading analytically detailed corporate initiatives
  • Experience in running and leading organizational change / transformation.
  • Experience in being responsible for the development, execution and measurement of strategic plans.
  • Validated dedication to continuous process improvement
  • Experience working within a large global and multifunctional organization. Intercultural experience is important in this role
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Domo, Tableau)
  • Position requires international travel
