In the position as Head of Key Account Managers Industrial EMEA you are responsible to lead a team of motivated, international Key Account Managers, supporting u-blox portfolio in the EMEA region.

Working at the forefront of technology, you will achieve strong profitable growth by driving the team and selling u-blox products focusing on the development of direct, existing, emerging and potential accounts in established and new markets.

The role can be home-based in Germany or office-based anywhere in in Malmo or Thalwil.You will report directly to the EMEA Head of Sales

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of key account managers Industrial
  • 5 Direct reports in different sites cross EMEA
  • Definition and implementation of sales strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals in EMEA
  • Monitor performance metrics while encouraging individual growth (KPIs definition and follow-up)
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product Marketing, and management
  • Strong focus on developing direct existing, emerging and potential accounts in established and new markets, through the entire cycle
  • Support an effective strategic account management organization: account review, growth plan, opportunity review
  • Provide organization with feedback on current and future requirements from the market and customer satisfaction
  • Support MarCom activities like press releases, trade fairs

Your Skills and Experience

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Min. 10 years’ experience in sales of electronic products, including team management
  • Excellent English skills
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Excellent customer relationship manner and the ability to handle difficult situations with diligence
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
