Ihre Aufgaben
Process Analytics is a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group and a leading supplier of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry. We are looking for an industry manager at our main site in Urdorf (CH) for the Food and Beverage segment who thrives in international and interdisciplinary teams.

Industry Manager, Food and Beverage (f/m/d)

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • Perform continued assessments of target market and segments and their trends; Main focus: Brewery, Dairy, Sugar & Starch as well as Pharma and Life Sciences
  • Identify new business and sales opportunities within the industry and come up with respective proposals
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management with respect to new product development and product lifecycle management.
  • Support growth initiatives through intensive direct customer contact together with local sales force
  • Generate content for marketing tools (e.g. application notes, success stories, white papers etc.)
  • Train customers and regional sales force on applications
  • Extensive international travel (approx. 40%)

Ihr Profil
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
  • Degree in Chemical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Life Sciences, Process Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Min. 10 years working experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Affinity with both the technical and the commercial aspects of the market, and well connected in the brewery and dairy world and preferably in Pharma.
  • Extensive know-how of the food & beverage and (bio)pharmaceutical industry (processes, regulations etc.)
  • Familiar with process instrumentation, automation and control, preferably analytical instrumentation
  • Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
  • Business savvy and able to maneuver within all levels of an organization
  • Self-organized and independent working attitude
  • Confidence in various cultural environments
