As a NPPE Insight Lead, you will explore, mine and develop groundbreaking and future thinking insights to shape opportunities for category development (based on consumer and shopper lenses) and act as a Strategic Partner to brand teams providing expertise and knowledge to shape brand strategies and plan.

A day in the life of a NPPE Insight Lead


  • Champion category and consumer insights: define and close knowledge gaps, explore new growth opportunities and proactively lead the communication of their implications throughout the organization
  • Coordinate with research partners the implementation of the study, guarantee the quality of the research process and analysis, deliver actionable insights to the organization
  • Embrace and develop DIY Research capabilities, managing and leveraging NPPE own consumer community (Pawspectives), conducting DIY projects and exploring new DIY tools
  • Work with brand builders to support them with relevant consumer research and synthesis: support brand teams in defining insight needs, coach on conducting brand-led insight research, provide guidance on methodologies as well as results interpretation
  • Support brand builders in embracing measurement culture: from measuring creative excellence to media ROI optimization and measuring brand health / power
  • Collaborate with all Purina functions to ensure consumer centricity of all key initiatives
  • Contribute to build, maintain and curate Insight Intelligence Engine (NPPE knowledge management platform).
  • Continuously scan the external environment to proactively identify and assess new leading-edge thinking, trends and tools in all topical areas of the CMI space to build future-forward competitive advantage
  • Accurate budget tracking for managed research projects, in synergy with rest of the CMI team

What will make you successful


  • At least 5 years of experience in research and insights fields, at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG or in major research agencies, of which at least 3 years in client regional role.
  • Experience in leading large scale insights projects in a multi-market environment (experience in CMI regional roles) is a plus
  • Ability to connect the dots, deliver story telling based on various data points for ‘evidence’ based insight
  • Strong ‘can-do attitude’, ability to work independently
  • Collaborative mindset and influencing skills
  • Experience with a broad spectrum of methodologies (quant, qual, DIY, AI etc.) in a variety of research areas (product research, Innovation & Renovation, Packaging, Communication & Digital, Portfolio, Marketing Mix Modelling
  • Ability and flexibility to manage different projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
  • Familiarity with Continuous & Syndicated Data (Retail Measurement & Consumer Panel), Brand Health Tracking, and shopper insights
  • Willing to embrace and champion self-serve research and able to conduct and analyze research yourself when appropriate
  • English language skills a must, a second EMENA language a plus
