Location: Lyss, Bern (4 days week and 1 day remote)

We are looking for an IT Engineer for one of our clilents with 2- 5 years of experience, who is very analytical and has great communication skills. Education Solid education is important, for example IT training as a system technician. Focus on Microsoft and M365. Azure would be awesome as well! (but client knows that with Azure is hard to find.)

Job description

As IT System Engineer:in you will support our IT Services department in all areas. We focus on sustainable solutions that generate added value for our customers. The basis is often a Microsoft solution, which is individually tailored to the requirements. Of course, hybrid solutions in terms of location (on-premises, cloud) or infrastructure (Windows, Linux, Mac) can also be used.

You will be at the forefront of implementing IT projects and ensuring the smooth operation of the customer infrastructure. With your open-minded and passionate personality, you will accompany customers and support the team in the continuous development of IT solutions. In addition to the technical challenges, you advise our customers with your charm and create individual concepts and offers.

You are familiar with cloud solutions from Microsoft (Azure, M365) as well as with networks (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Synology, Sophos) solutions. Thanks to your knowledge, your passion for technology and your subtlety, you can quickly and systematically solve the tricky requests of customers.

Qualifications

• You have completed IT training as a systems engineer or equivalent
• You have experience in IT engineering (Microsoft 365 and ideally Azure)
• You speak German and English (written and spoken)
• You combine the ability to work in a team with trust, willingness to deal with conflicts, commitment and responsibility
• You enjoy learning new things

What does your job look like

• Operation, monitoring, maintenance and documentation of IT systems
• Inventory and requirements gathering from customers and within the team
• Creating offers for individual customer solutions
• Setting up and expanding IT infrastructures in the Microsoft environment
• Dealing with hosting infrastructures and supporting our digital agency
• Direct support and assistance of customers, remote as well as on-site
• Commissioning and installation of different hardware/software
• Proactive monitoring of the operated solutions
• Customer communication via different channels
• Automation of IT tasks (requires script know-how)
• Building up and passing on know-how, supporting the team
