Lecturer Role - Blockchain & Cryptocurrency

AUS Lecturers create inspiring learning environments leveraging their scholarly knowledge and practical understanding of business management. They are required to participate in interdisciplinary teaching and contribute to the institution’s numerous programs and development. AUS Lecturers are committed to conducting rigorous, relevant, and practical

research which leads to publications in top refereed and practitioner journals. Commitment to working in a collegial and collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork is essential.

Key responsibilities include the following:

● Teaching: Teach courses in an engaging and stimulating manner to graduate and undergraduate students. Remain current in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and effective

teaching techniques.

● Coaching and Mentoring: Respond to individual student academic ideas and questions

dedicating time to meet with students outside the classroom, during office hours

● Research: Min 20% of research activities, including publication (peer-reviewed academic & practitioner journals and books) and development of pedagogical material (cases, simulations, and exercises).

● Support: Support the AUS mission and enhance the quality of educational learning outcomes, participate in faculty meetings and extra curriculum activities related to

faculty peer development as well institutional development.

Our Requirements

● Graduate degree, PhD or equivalent relevant Doctoral qualification is preferred.

● At least 5 years of relevant experience, teaching in a University environment with

emphasis on experiential learning approaches.

● Commitment to teaching excellence that is consistent with the demands of business education.

● Recognised research profile including substantial record of research outputs in high-quality journals.

● Strong team player with an inclusive and collaborative approach.

● Ability to teach in English and fluent in one of Switzerland’s official languages, especially

French.
