Are you eager to get back into business after a career break in a client facing role with the opportunity to refresh your technical and non-technical competencies? KPMG’s 6- month returnship offers a soft start in a client facing role in our Audit department.
  • Audit of annual and consolidated financial statements of national and international companies in accordance with Swiss and international accounting standards (IFRS, Swiss CO and Swiss GAAP FER)
  • Support projects that require reporting expertise
  • Examine the clients’ business processes and workflows
  • Coordinate the day-to-day business of the audit team in collaboration with the client in order to meet internal and external deadlines

  • Preferably Accounting degree (Swiss CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous audit experience with another audit firm or fiduciary company
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Highly motivated team player, curious, proactive and with a positive attitude

In our Audit department, our auditors examine whether our clients adhere to the necessary regulatory and accounting requirements. They develop relevant audit instruments and tackle audits using cutting- edge technology and data & analytics, providing clients with valuable insights. This position will allow you to gain valuable experience in technical accounting and auditing in a dynamic setting.
