Main Purpose:
Provide support to the Chief Compliance Officer with the management and implementation of various regulatory driven change projects.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Compliance or law professional with at least 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Working experience in either the US, UK, Australia, Singapore or New Zealand with credible compliance experience in such jurisdiction
  • Must have recent (within the last 2 years) direct, extensive, experience of participating in / managing all aspects of an enhanced compliance regulatory reporting obligation, preferable in an in-house trading or commercial environment
  • Ideally has significant international and cross border experience
  • Should have extensive experience of all aspects of a corporate compliance program including anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, trade sanctions, market abuse.
  • Very desirable to have experience managing compliance aspects of participating on futures exchanges and the various international rules governing the use of OTC derivatives such as EMIR, MiFID II, Dodd Frank
  • Good IT skills and organisational skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
Key Responsibilities
  • Working as a member of the Trafigura Group Compliance department which provides a full compliance service to the company
  • Assist with the management of the relationship with key regulators in the context of ongoing regulatory oversight processes.
  • Leading the implementation of various change projects to ensure that the Compliance program at Trafigura remains aligned with leading industry standard.
  • Establishing strong working relationships across the business
  • Provide specialised training tailored to the specific risks associated with employees’ roles
