Are you an experienced JAVA developer experienced in and passionate about developing high performance and highly scalable microservices? Are you interested in developing Back End JAVA code for serverless AWS applications? Are you interested in getting involved in architectural decision making alongside pure JAVA development? If so this could be the perfect next JAVA developer job for you!

You will be joining a development team that develop in house used frameworks for connection to AWS as well as a web based dashboard that clients can connect to via APIs. Alongside pure development, the team work together to evaluate and determine the best technologies to ensure high availability, scalability and reliability of their software. They are big advocates for clean coding practices and ensure very high test coverage of their code.

Technically, they are using a blend of JAVA and Python for the development of their microservices and are looking for someone to bring extensive AWS experience and knowledge to the team - they are using Lambdas, DynamoDB, EC2 and S3 as well as Docker for containerisation. Although the majority of development is done in JAVA, any OO language experience will be considered for the right candidate.

You will be joining a fully international team based in Zurich that offers significant flexibility around home office vs on site working.
