Java Developer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your tasks:

  • Being responsible for developing Order and Trade Management services
  • Collaborating with other team members on the requirements, preparing the releases and delivering the applications to production
  • Performing continuous integration testing and related documentation updates
  • Contributing to the design and technology review of the applications written in the team
  • Supporting the existing systems where required, including analyzing and fixing defects


Your experience/knowledge:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Java developer delivering high quality, good design and clean code
  • A thorough understanding of cloud-based, microservice-oriented architecture
  • Expertise in JEE technologies, e. g. on the backend EJBs, JMS and JPA and on the frontend JSF
  • Familiarity with build and test tools like Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Junit and Mockito
  • Advanced knowledge of databases and SQL combined with knowhow of agile methods
  • Proficiency in Spring framework and Javascript would be an advantage

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn along with an analytical mindset
