My duties

  • Responsible for designing a solution that meets the business roadmap affecting XML exchanges in general and ISO20022, in particular in the areas of payments, corporate actions, funds, regulatory (ECB)
  • Assist in the component’s brainstorming and architecture phase, in particular by organizing short and longer term needs
  • Support the high-level design, then more detailed, then PoC and preparation of an MVP around a new component to support
  • ISO20022 inbound and outbound inbound messaging to be implemented for the payment scope
  • Outgoing internal accounting messaging in proprietary XML format
  • Be proactive in technical software and architecture choices and validate these choices with architects
  • Frame and carry out the PoC to verify the feasibility
  • Define and build the "business" framework to ensure the flexibility and reuse of the component in all identified use cases
  • Propose concrete alternatives making it possible to keep the commitments of the project towards customers
  • Ensure application deliveries on environments in conjunction with developers
  • Build and urbanize the necessary services, identify performance bottlenecks and find solutions ensuring scalability
  • Support the dedicated development team by ensuring compliance with defined architectural principles
  • Make progress reports to the project manager and raise alerts
  • Ensure and monitor the quality of developments
  • Carry out, if necessary, developments / corrections on services

My qualifications

  • Experience in a similar position (JAVA Expert)
  • Knowledge of development processes
  • Knowledge of integration processes
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and interbank exchanges
  • Knowledge of the ISO20022 standards in the areas of payment, corporate actions, funds, regulatory reporting (would be a plus)
  • Knowledge of FIXML (would be a plus)
  • Experience with JAVA, Spring, various MQs, various databases, Shell
  • Experience with native Java parsing and transformation XML frameworks & patterns (JaxB, DOM / SAX, STAX, Jackson, XSLT), support for XSD schemas
  • Experience with Maven, Jenkins / SVN / Git, AIX / Windows / WebSphere / Tomcat
  • Experience with Openshift containerization (would be a plus)
  • French and English skills (written and oral)
