The Sonderabfallverwertungs-AG SOVAG, a subsidiary of SARP Industries (a company of
the VEOLIA Group) the leading player in Europe for the treatment and recovery of
hazardous waste

What is our project about?
Obtaining a permit for a new Treatment and Transfer plant for relocation of the
current operation of the Emmenbrücke plant
Designing, building and commissioning the plant
What will be your role?
  • You will report to a Senior Project Manager in our Headquarters in France during all
the stages of the project
  • You will coordinate a functional project team made of experts and consultants
  • In Switzerland you will be under the supervision of the Site Manager at
Emmenbrücke
What will be your role during the Permit Process?
  • Coordinating the work of the different stakeholders who are part of the permit
process (design team, operation team, consultants and competent authorities,
among others)
  • Scheduling and attending meetings, taking minutes, documenting processes,
preparing action lists and progress reports, preparing technical and regulatory
clarifications
  • Assessing documents and plots together with SARPI Engineering/SOVAG and the
Swiss Engineering Company
  • Communicating and coordinating with key employees in Emmebrücke in order to
ensure know how transfer to the project
  • Communicating actively with the local authorities in order to meet their requirements
What will be your role during the Design Process?
  • Participating actively in the procurement of different equipment and services
  • Coordinating the work between the internal design team in France and the
engineering company that will be in charge of the detailed engineering in Switzerland
What will be your role during the Contracting and Construction Process?
  • Liaising with EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) and Owner’s
Engineering (the company coordinating the construction)
  • Establishing contracts with the support of the Legal Advice Unit and the Senior
Project Manager
  • Implementing the execution and commission of the plant
Technical skills: ability to read and understand Process Flow Sheet, Process &
Instrumentation Diagram, bases in chemical engineering
Other skills: organization, pugnacity to push up the stakeholders, capacity of synthesis
Languages: German plus French/English
