The Bathco Group has a leading position as a global trader, service provider and processor of selected raw materials and equipment in the Aluminium industry with the headquarter in Zurich and branches in China, India, Europe, Africa and North America and continuously expanding.

We are looking for a:

Junior Raw Material Trader (100%)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing relationships with customers and suppliers (frequent international traveling necessary)
  • Identifying trading potentials and working out proposals (PnL responsibility)
  • Negotiation of contract terms with trading partners
  • Drafting/issuance of contracts
  • Close cooperation with Middle-Office / Logistics department to ensure smooth contract execution
  • Updating internal sales/trading-systems on a regular basis

Skills and Experience you bring along:

  • 3-4 years experience and track-record in physical commodity trading
  • Self-driven, excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Goal-oriented and dedicated personality
  • Ability to identify opportunities and transforming them into results
  • High ability for networked thinking
  • Excellent written and oral English skills is a must, any other language is an advantage
  • Good technical understanding of the metal production processes or quick grasp to learn
  • Very good IT skills, especially Excel
